Code Red was my junior Vertical Studio Short. It was the first time that I was the lead for Layout, Lighting, and Compositing. I was also the project manager for this short, where I learned so much about managing assets, time, and my fellow teammates.
For this short, we did something interesting; there was no animation. I was responsible for the layout, and all of the motion and energy in the short comes from camera moves.
This was also my first time surfacing multiple hero assets for a short, and I learned so much about surfacing and the Substance Painter to Renderman workflow during the course of this project.
